Overview

Healthcare technology campaigns require precise audience targeting and relevant communication to connect medical professionals with solutions that address their clinical and practice needs.

A three-month digital campaign was designed to generate high-quality leads among healthcare professionals specializing in Urology, Nephrology, and Gynecology across India. The campaign also aimed to strengthen awareness and recall while identifying HCPs interested in equipment demonstrations at their clinics.

The campaign focused on healthcare professionals registered on a digital healthcare platform and aimed to identify those considering new clinics or upgrading their existing equipment.

Campaign Approach

The campaign adopted an omnichannel digital engagement strategy to reach healthcare professionals through multiple touchpoints.

The key channels included:

The campaign began with a survey in July to gather insights from the targeted HCP audience. This was followed by a lead-generation phase beginning in August, using the dedicated microsite and other digital channels to identify healthcare professionals interested in equipment demonstrations.

Weekly banner advertising was also used during August and September to maintain visibility and consistently engage the target audience.

Methodology

The campaign followed a structured methodology combining audience insights, targeted digital communication, lead generation, and tele-verification.

The initial survey helped gather insights from healthcare professionals across the targeted specialties. Following this awareness and insight-gathering phase, the campaign shifted toward lead generation through the dedicated microsite and other digital touchpoints.

Digital advertisements were promoted consistently to maximize exposure, with the campaign aiming to reach approximately 90% of the defined target audience.

Interested HCPs were captured as leads and subsequently contacted through tele-calling. The leads underwent thorough tele-verification to confirm their interest and identify healthcare professionals who were willing to consider an equipment demonstration at their clinics.

This integrated methodology brought together survey marketing, targeted digital advertising, lead capture, and tele-verification to create a focused HCP lead-generation journey.

Result

Between July and September 2024, the campaign generated substantial reach, visibility, and engagement among healthcare professionals.

The campaign achieved:

The campaign reached 62,769 healthcare professionals and generated 392,203 impressions, providing significant visibility across the targeted specialties. It also generated 34,281 clicks, demonstrating strong interaction with the campaign content.

The campaign achieved a 9% CTR, indicating strong engagement with the digital communication.

Most importantly, the campaign generated 52 leads. Following tele-verification, these leads were confirmed to comprise HCPs who had actively engaged with the campaign and agreed to equipment demonstrations at their clinics.

Conclusion

The campaign demonstrates how a precision-focused omnichannel strategy can combine broad HCP visibility with targeted lead generation.

By integrating survey marketing, dedicated microsite experiences, digital advertising, multiple communication channels, and tele-verification, the campaign created a structured pathway from awareness and engagement to qualified product demonstration interest.

With 62,769 HCPs reached, 392,203 impressions, 34,281 interactions, a 9% CTR, and 52 tele-verified leads, the campaign highlights the potential of targeted digital healthcare marketing to generate meaningful engagement and identify high-quality HCP opportunities.
