Overview
Understanding healthcare professionals’ preferences, experiences, and feedback is essential for developing stronger healthcare communication and improving the overall doctor experience. A targeted survey-led digital campaign was designed to gather actionable insights from healthcare professionals across relevant medical specialties.
The campaign focused on collecting feedback on two therapy brands while creating an interactive opportunity for healthcare professionals to share their perceptions, preferences, and experiences. The objective was to generate meaningful HCP participation, gather real-time feedback, and provide insights that could support brand improvement and competitive understanding.
The campaign targeted Consulting Physicians, Endocrinologists, Diabetologists, and Nephrologists, with specialty-specific targeting and communication frequencies designed around the survey requirements.
Campaign Approach
The campaign adopted an omnichannel digital approach to maximize awareness and participation among healthcare professionals.
Email and SMS were used as the primary communication channels to promote the surveys and drive HCPs toward the dedicated survey experience. A digital survey form was developed to facilitate participation and capture responses efficiently.
The campaign was structured to ensure repeated communication throughout the month, helping maintain visibility among the targeted healthcare professional segments. Consulting Physicians, Endocrinologists, Diabetologists, and Nephrologists were reached at different frequencies based on the campaign requirements.
The primary engagement objective was to achieve 100 responses for each survey within one month, while also generating actionable feedback and comparative insights from participating healthcare professionals.
Methodology
The survey topics and requirements were used to develop structured questionnaires for the two campaigns. The questionnaires were subsequently shared for approval before being promoted to the targeted healthcare professional audiences.
The surveys were promoted through email and SMS, with communication frequency customized according to specialty. Consulting Physicians were reached twice during the month, while Endocrinologists and Nephrologists received communication four times during the month. Diabetologists were reached twice during the campaign period.
The campaign focused on driving healthcare professionals from exposure to active survey participation. Engagement data was captured throughout the campaign, enabling measurement of reach, interactions, responses, and conversion.
The methodology therefore combined specialty-based HCP targeting, omnichannel promotion, repeated digital communication, survey-based engagement, and response measurement to generate actionable feedback from healthcare professionals.
Result
The campaign successfully exceeded the response target of 100 participants for each survey within the planned one-month period.
Key campaign outcomes included:
| Campaign Metric | Survey 1 | Survey 2 |
| Reach | 79,542 | 74,287 |
| Impressions | 184,734 | 167,802 |
| Responses | 115 | 111 |
| Engagements | 3,134 | 2,641 |
| CTR | 2% | 2% |
| Conversion Rate | 4% | 4% |
The campaign demonstrated the effectiveness of a multi-channel communication strategy, with individual healthcare professionals engaging with the campaign multiple times during the month. It also enabled real-time feedback from HCPs and generated comparative analytics against competing brands.
Participation varied by specialty.
| Survey | Specialty | Participation |
| Survey 1 | Consulting Physicians | 46% |
| Diabetologists | 31% | |
| Endocrinologists | 23% | |
| Survey 2 | Consulting Physicians | 52% |
| Nephrologists | 48% |
These results demonstrate that the campaign was able to move beyond broad digital reach and convert HCP exposure into measurable survey participation and actionable feedback.
Conclusion
The campaign demonstrates how a focused, omnichannel HCP survey strategy can create meaningful opportunities for healthcare professionals to share their feedback while delivering measurable digital engagement.
By combining specialty-based audience targeting with email and SMS promotion, repeated communication, structured surveys, and response tracking, the campaign successfully achieved its participation objectives within the planned timeframe.
The resulting feedback provided an opportunity to understand HCP perceptions in real time and generate comparative insights across competing brands. The campaign highlights the value of using digital healthcare platforms not only for communication and reach, but also as an effective mechanism for two-way HCP engagement, insight generation, and data-driven decision-making.
